APPEX is the Annual Awards for Publication
Excellence Competition sponsored by the editors
of Writing that Works, a newsletter
published by Communications Concepts, Inc. There
were 4,756 entries in 11 categories in this
year’s competition and a total of 227 entries in
the Special Publications division (One-of-a-kind
category) where Soundings’ “101 Answers” was
among the 20 chosen to receive an Award for
Publication Excellence. |

Folio:’s
Eddie Awards for Editorial Excellence is
sponsored by Folio Magazine and held annual in
New York City. Folio:’s Eddie (and Ozzie) Awards
are judged by a panel of publishing industry
professionals. This year 100 judges reviewed a
record 2,200 entries in 80 B-to-B and consumer
magazine categories naming Gold, Silver and
Bronze winners in each. “101 Answers” was the
Gold Winner in the best Supplemental Annual or
One Shot Category. |
